A large black basalt oviform coffee-pot and domed cover
with widow knop finial, the sides with engine-turned bands, the spout moulded with acanthus leaves and the handle with laurel, perhaps Yorkshire -- 12in. (30.5cm.) high, circa 1785; and a Turner black basalt oviform jug with moulded and applied ornament of putti holding foliage swags beneath stiff leaves and between bands of horizontal and vertical engine turning, impressed mark -- 6 5/8in. (16.8cm.) high, circa 1790 (extended crack to base and sides)
