comprising: a tin-glazed earthenware tile transfer-printed in black by Sadler & Green with The Sailor's Farewell -- 5 1/8in. (13cm.) square, circa 1760 (minor rim chips); a pearlware oviform teacaddy painted with loose bouquets beneath a diaper and flowering swag border, iron-red mark to base -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high, circa 1790; and three Choisey-le-Roi octagonal plates transfer-printed with named portraits of HENRI IV, LOUIS XIV and LOUIS XV, impressed marks -- 8¼in. (21cm.) wide, circa 1810
