An 'Imperial Queen's ware' pieced sweetmeat basket
of scallop outline with a raised thumb-piece, pierced allover with a trellis pattern applied to the interior and exterior with trailing leaves and berries between a lobed ropetwist rim and a stiff-leaf band, the oval foot moulded with a band of scrolls and foliage between beaded bands, impressed mark -- 8¼in. (21cm.) long, circa 1875 (some firing cracks)
