Modelled in the form of a beehive, applied with hardstone figures of bees, the hinged cover enclosing a glass liner (cracked), the rim inscribed HALSTAFF & HANNAFORDE REGENT St, the square platform with date lozenge mark and stamped G.B & SONS, REGISTERED 488, later re-gilded
