Decorated in the Neo Classical manner, inlaid with ribbon-tied festoons of bellflowers and acanthus and scrolling foliage, the banded rectangular top veneered a quatre faces with a stiff-leaf edge above a frieze fitted with two drawers, above two re-entrant panel doors, each with a portrait oval depicting classical figures, between fluted turned uprights, each with a stiff-leaf capital, the panelled sides centred by urns, on a paterae and fluted plinth, raised on turned feet
