A Chinese gilt-copper and enamel fan
painted with seated officials on terraces with numerous attendants among plantain, the reverse with shaped cartouches of riverlandscapes and birds among flowers, the heads onlaid in ivory, all above filigree and enamel sections decorated with figures among prunus, bamboo and rockwork, within the outer sections of further figures among buildings and foliage -- 11¾.in (29.8cm) long, early 19th Century, (slight rubbing, one onlaid head missing, small tears).
