A Chinese blue and white tapering cylindrical vase
with flaring neck, painted with a pair of lovers on horses riding towards five figures in discussion on a terrace in a mountainous landscape strewn with pine, plantain and bushes, below a narrow band of scrolling flowers and foliage, the neck with insects among peonies issuing from rockwork -- 16½in. (42cm.) high, Transitional, (crack to luting line.)
