the latter of boat shape and with a moulded rim and two scroll handles, the ground engraved with a crest within a drapery and tassel cartouche, maker's initials T.D., London 1790 - 10¼in. (26cm.), the gilt-lined oblong snuff box with reeded sides and engine-turned base and hinged cover, the latter with applied floral and foliate border with thumb piece and with later presentation inscription, Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1826 - 3½in.
