of moulded oval form, with reeded mounts, scroll handle, blue glass liner and domed hinged cover with vase-shaped finial, the body engraved with flutes and vacant foliate cartouches and pierced and engraved with two friezes of lozenges, George Smith & Thomas Hayter, London 1799 - 3¾in. (9.50cm.) overall.
