both of dark leather, one for a left foot with rounded toe, the upper of one piece with angled seam at side back, with at least two hole fastening at ankle, with narrow-waisted sole, the other for a right foot with one straight side seam with slightly pointed toe, with strap fastening, both late 14th century (parts of sole stuck to upper where previously stitched)
