of cloth of silver intricately worked with green and pink silks, coloured purl, couched gilt threads and embellished with spangles, with flower stems and a pair of exotic birds, fitted with a pair of knives with crystal handle and fluted bead end with silver gilt metal finial, with cutler's dagger and "T" mark on blade, with decorative ferrule and silver gilt metal cuff, the blade shaft bound with coloured threads--8¼in. (21cm), long, English, mid 17th century (one handle broken)
