The case of typical proportions with bevelled glass to the sides and top with foliate cast gilt-metal handle, white enamel Roman dial signed E.J.Dent London with blued spade hands, within a gilt foliate engraved mask, the twin chain fusee movement with maintaining power and large gilt platform for the underslung lever escapement with large diameter cut bimetallic compensated balance, strike on gong on the back-plate signed Dent London 15051, strike/silent lever to top left corner; with gilt winding key punch numbered 15052
