The translucent material of characteristic tone, each finely and thinly carved as deep vessels supported by four leaf-shaped feet, the flat reticulated rims carved as a leafy scroll, flanked by a pair of lotus sprig handles suspending loose rings, the domed cover with a further reticulated band of lotus scroll beneath overlapping petals and a hollow chrysanthemum bud finial (one cover repaired)
