A FINE AND VERY RARE FAMILLE VERTE YANYAN VASE

Brilliantly enamelled in shades of green, blue, yellow, iron-red, black, aubergine and gilt to depict a pair of exotic pheasants perched on angular rockwork amid thick leafy branches of flowering peonies, prunus and other flowers beside a pair of song birds perched on an aged branch and a butterfly in flight, the trumpet neck with a further two songbirds amid similar flowers in addition to chrysanthemum and whisteria, divided at the shoulder by three classic band borders, the base with a double-line ring in underglaze-blue
