Depicting Sakyamuni Buddha seated on a raised platform in dhyanasana beneath the arch of a bodhi-tree, his right hand raised in abhayamudra, framed on either side by octagonal columns with a petal capital and foot, all resting on a large rectangular base relief-carved with a central lotus bud carried by a kneeling humanoid figure, between a pair of guardian lions and mourning disciples, traces of red pigment remaining on the reverse (cracks restuck)
