NORTHERN QI DYNASTY
Carved with a central figure of Buddha seated in meditation flanked by two pairs of acolytes above circular plinths, all above a frieze with a pair of crouching lions to either side of a crouching dwarf supporting an offering on his head, the reverse with a twenty-eight character inscription, the stone of mottled yellow and russet tones (minor chip to edges)
