cover OLYPHANT & CO.: 1874, two printed "Nicholson" envelopes to Melbourne, endorsed as from Foochow, each bearing on the reverse despatch and arrival c.d.s. along with the forwarding agent's cachet dated (8 Jan.) and (23 May) respectively; the former (stain on reverse) rated 8c. and marked "per 'Tartar'" whilst the latter rated 24c. making an interesting pair of covers.
