cover SINGAPORE: 1875 (26 June) opened out envelope addressed to Singapore "Per French Packet 'Tigre'", then readdressed to Egypt, bears Hong Kong 8c. cancelled by a light strike of "B62" with "SINGAPORE/PAID" in red alongside (a second strike on reverse), the cover then struck with the Singapore dumb chop obliterating the adhesive (to invalidate the postage) and a good strike of the rare "SINGAPORE/UNPAID" in black and French maritime datestamp alongside. Part of the corner of the cover is missing, nevertheless a rare and desirable item, not recorded by Webb. Photo
