Of rectangular outline, the three coloured material boldly carved on one side in low relief, an area of brilliant apple green carved with a design of three recumbent deer, a flying bat carved from a white inclusion in one corner, the rocky ground utilising the russet vein running across the base, the reverse with a solitary dove perched in a pine tree, representing the rebus xi shang mei shao (happiness in great abundance), suspended by a black cord from a coral bead sewn on two sides with seed pearls, to the yellow gold bail and suspension loop, pendant 19th century
