The even white stone finely carved as a deep bowl supported on an neatly defined foot, the rim with four butterfly handles suspending loose-rings above a peony meander border, the domed cover with a similar border below another four foliate sprigs suspending loose-rings, the flattened finial carved as a reticulated peony medallion surrounded by leafy branches (nicks to extremities of carving, one loose-ring with a repaired break)
