The tall body painted in inky-blue tones with two dragons descending from cloud-scrolls at the shoulder, two further dragons rising from crashing waves at the base, and two phoenixes in flight, all in pursuit of flaming pearls amidst fire-scrolls, the neck with a further fire- scroll above an overlapping saw-tooth border (glaze frits to inner rim) 11 5/8 in. (29.6 cm.) high
