DAOGUANG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

The exterior with four medallions, one of the cowherd, Niu Lang, another of the Spinning Maid, Zhi Nu, and two of landscapes, reserved on a lavender sgraffiato-ground and enlivened with pink, blue, and yellow vaporous clouds, the interior in underglaze-blue with a scene of the lovers meeting surrounded by magpies and clouds
5 3/4 in. (14.6 cm.) diam.
