Of pale apple green jadeite, with an antique, apple green plaque, pierced and carved with a qilin with magical vapours emanating from its mouth, the cloud containing a scroll, suggesting a wish for scholarly success, to the lapis lazuli and baguette-cut diamond terminals and diamond-set pushpiece, plaque Qing dynasty, circa 1925, probably reduced from a larger box
