This collection has been put together by a most knowledgeable European connoisseur and includes many of the relatively recently-established wines upon which this vinous revolution has been founded.
Names such as Tiganello and Sassicaia, virtually unknown outside Italy until the mid-late 1970s, now compete at a qualitative level with the best of Bordeaux and have prepared the way for a host of similar experimental non D.O.C.G. wines from a directory of leading producers.
