Saint-Emilion, 1er grand cru classé (A). Believed Belgian-bottled
Probably bottled by Van der Meulen. The first lot in green glass and the second lot in brown glass. Plain capsules. Original slip labels only. Levels mid-shoulder
It is highly likely that the original fills would not have been much different to the levels now, as the view at the time was that maturation would be so slow that some ullage was a distinct advantage
