The 2.5 acre Grand Cru vineyard of La Romanée is the smallest AC in France. It is sited just above Romanée-Conti and is bordered to the north by Richebourg. La Romanée is made by Forey Père on behalf of the owners the Ligier-Belair family. It is then matured in 100 new oak casks in the cellars of Bouchard Père who are responsible for bottling the wine.
La Romanée resembles the wines of Richebourg most, being deeply coloured, rich and concentrated with abundant fruit, body and tannin Above 12 bottles per lot
