The following lots, 555-753, recently removed from a spectacular hilltop residence overlooking an exclusive stretch of Mediterranean coastline, the purpose-built cellars, constructed in 1982, being temperature and humidity-controlled and maintained at a constant 12 C. All the wines were purchased directly from the respective Châteaux or producers following each vintage. Unless stated otherwise in the text all bottles are of pristine appearance with excellent levels. Every bottle has been checked in situ by members of Christie's Wine Department before re-packing into new cartons prior to shipment to the U.K. An especially good opportunity to purchase top-flight Bordeaux of the 1982 vintage that have remained untouched in such perfect cellarage since early purchase by the current owner
