Upstaged by 1959 and, of course by the 1961s, 1958 nevertheless I well recall a group of claret connoisseurs, including Jack Plumb, Jack Rutherford, Edward Cruse appreciating their charm - distinctly not the sort of deep-coloured, full of fruit and flesh reds currently in vogue. M.B.
