The decade of the 1920s produced a string of outstanding vintages unprecedented until the 1980s came along. 1924: Seven notes on the Latour, last tasted in September 1996. At best - and it should be superb in jeroboam - richly coloured; lovely flavour, full, crisp, rich. MB
