Purchased by the owner at Christie's sale of Finest and Rarest Wines on the 7th December 1989 at which time it was shipped for sale by Château Latour themselves.
Nine top châteaux of the excellent 1949 vintage opening with the superb '49 Latour last tasted in magnum in September 1996. MB
