Traditionally, both in AMerica and abroad, the wines of Château Pétrus have dominated the auction arena. Annual production is low, comparitively speaking, around 4000 cases and is distributed through exclusive agents by Christian Moueix. Scarcity is a part of the allure, but the desirability of the wine most likely comes from its absolute richness of flavour, bouquet and color.
