Lot A levels: one top, one just below top shoulder. One capsule slightly damaged, with protruding cork. Lot B Levels: just below top shoulder. Damaged capsules. Lot C levels: two upper shoulder. One damaged capsule, one label slightly torn. Lot D levels: one upper, one mid/upper shoulder. One label torn. Lot EEE levels: four bottom neck, five top, two upper, one mid/upper shoulder. Five with traces of original tissue. One label with a small hole, one wrinkled.
"Remarkably consistent character and style. Not deep-coloured, but lovely, lively, intense, rich with fine mature rim. Initially a low-keyed nose but it blossoms in the glass, churning out a fabulous, biscuity, spicy, slightly citrus-like penetrating fragrance. A distinct touch of sweetness on the palate, by no means a heavyweight, more of a middle-weight, elegant and stylish, svelt yet with some concentration, great length and dry finish.
