"Incredible bouquet; immediately forthcoming with a vigorous fragrance, a sort of essence of Cabernet Sauvignon. Spicy, cinnamon, eucalyptus... Like the Latour it appears to have become sweeter but is still full-bodied, very rich, very concentrated, mouthfilling, spicy, still borne aloft by its alcohol, acidity and tannin, although the latter are softening - a little. What a wine. I have often given it 21 out of 20, and six stars!" GVWB
