WILLIAMS SELYEM..Since 1982 Burt WIlliams and Ed Selyem have produced many of America's most exciting Pinot Noirs: very ripe, well-oaked wines reflecting the superb terroir where the Russian River turns westward toward Guerneville. Production of the vineyard--designated wines is never more than a few hundred cases each, and most of the production is sold by subscription for which there is a long waiting list. Full cases of such wines rarely appear on the market...Williams and Selyem produced Zinfandel with grapes from the Leno Martinelli Vineyard from 1981 until 1992, after which production was taken over by the Martinelli family..
