Lot 970 levels: two bottom neck, five top, three upper, and one mid shoulder. Lot 971 levels: one bottom neck, two very top, five top, two upper, and one mid-upper shoulder. All with lightly soiled labels. Ex-Heublein sale, 31 May, 1973, lot 129.
Parcel: lots 970-971.
These half-bottles, purchased at the 1973 Heublein auction, were from the cellar of the Cunard ocean liner Queen Mary, which had been retired in 1967. Each half-bottle bears a neck tag: "From the last voyage R.M.S. Queen Mary, Oct - Dec 1967."
