All in original cellophane wrappers; slight damage to wax capsules. Parcel: lots 2115-2117.
Borges and Irmao make ports in a lighter, almost late-bottled style, crowd-pleasing though not the darlings of a certain critic. A sample bottle of the 1963 from this parcel had a rose-tangerine color, sweet and forthcoming nose, with bouquet and flavors of cherries and toffee and good acidity. Certainly delicious, if not darkly profound.
