"Nine notes from 1985. A magnificent wine. Full marks at Flatt's Mouton tasting in April 1986: wonderful intensity of colour, glorious depth of nose; sweet, full, rich, plump--ripe flesh, Rubensian--mulberry-like Cabernet Sauvignon taste. But a slightly metallic, very tannic element holding it in check. Still very deep, with '82 thickness of colour, bramble-like nose, spice, alcohol; a huge mouthful, dry, fragrant aftertaste. Needs time in bottle, decanter, and glass." GVWB
