The original was formerly in the Kaiser-Friedrich Museum, Berlin, destroyed in World War II. The present composition follows the engraving by Schelte à Bolswert (See E. Larssen, The Paintings of Anthony van Dyck, II, 1988, pp.114-115, no271).
