A pair of George III giltwood and gesso torcheres
Each with a circular top and gadrooned edge with a fluted frieze decorated with rosettes and lion masks, above a beaded edge hung with later gesso cabochon and foliate trefoil decoration, upon three spreading channelled supports carved with overlapping coin detail and terminating in Greek key overscrolled feet, the concave sided lower tier hung with ribbon-tied drapes and applied with Vitruvian scrolls, supporting a classical urn with anthemion decoration, partly lost, traces of original gilding visible
