The caned back flanked by crossbanded marquetry panels and surmounted by a bold arched scrolling cresting centred with a basket of flowers and flanked by turned uprights with finials, the downswept arms with foliate scroll terminals and ring-turned supports, the caned seat above a front rail with scroll carved edge, on foliate cabriole legs with hairy paw feet joined by stretchers, with label Someries House
