surmounted by a recumbent feline -- 3.in (7.6cm) wide; a bloodstone rectangular seal of irregular form incised with lines of calligraphy -- 2½.in (6.4cm) high; a rectangular mottled brown soapstone seal with three characters -- 1¾.in (4.5cm) high; a mottled green and russet soapstone seal of irregular form -- 2½.in (6.4cm) high; a brown soapstone seal in the form of a mountain carved in relief with peachsprays -- 2¾.in (7cm) high; a creamy soapstone rectangular seal carved to the top with a stylised dragon above a geometric band -- 3¼.in (8.3cm) high; a seal carved with a standing official -- 5½.in (14cm) high; a honey soapstone rectangular seal lightly carved with bamboo sections -- 3.in (7.6cm) high, fitted box; and a further fifty-two soapstone seals of varying size and colours carved with figures, animals and of irregular forms, late 19th and early 20th Century.
