A Chinese red lacquer and gilt wood mirror stand
of arched form with scrollwork feet, deeply carved all over with numerous Immortals, dignitaries, scholars and attendants amongst foaming waves and cloud scrolls and before pavilions and trees in rocky landscapes, the circular centre opening to reveal a Japanese bronze mirror decorated with Buddha, the reverse carved with a crane roundel -- 32¾in. (83.2cm.) high, late 19th Century.
