painted and gilt with two phoenix perched on rockwork amongst peony flowers and leaves, all before further birds in flight and perched on the branch of a leafy tree, numerous ducks swimming in a lotus pond below -- 13in. (33cm.) x 23½in. (59.7cm.), 18th Century, carved wood frame, (some scratches and old wear).
