4°, general title and sectional title to the New Testament with woodcut embellishment depicting the tents of the twelve tribes of Israel, the twelve apostles and four evangelists, 18 leaves of woodcut genealogies (lacking sectional title to the Old Testament, some leaves cropped at upper margin, occasional light staining and spotting, mainly marginal), old panelled calf (heavily rubbed, rebacked).
With an original watercolour by Alfred-Bennett Bamford of the same bible shown open at the New Testament and supporting a cutlass, signed by the artist and dated 1901, 145 x 295mm., framed and glazed. (2)
