Small 2°, woodcut title, 5 full-page woodcuts only (of 6) and 137 smaller illustrations only (of 142, lacking D2-3, E2 and Y6, long tear to inner margin of title with slight loss of margin, clean long marginal tear to C2, a few leaves starting to detach, last leaf detached, title and a few leaves soiled, some upper margins cropped occasionally affecting headings, light waterstaining throughout), 18th-century reversed calf (worn). Provenance: "... Roberto Roy parvulum dati hoce testimonium grati Animi, recordationis et observantiae Arthurus Daniel Stone, Mach 12, 1794", inscription to front pastedown.
