carved in shallow relief to one side with a coiled dragon emerging from foaming waves and cloud scrolls, the underside with a seated Buddhist priest, the sides incised with calligraphy, in a fitted box and cover in the form of a fruit spray, the cover inlaid with an oval agate plaque -- 5¼in.
