Admiralty Court The selection, comprising 1857-58 1/-, 2/6d., 5/-, 10/-, £1, £5, each in a fresh mint block of four with "SPECIMEN" overprints, 2/6d., 5/-, 10/- and £1 fiscally used, an imperforate piece of proof paper showing eight impressions of the Admiral's Flag watermark; 1711, 1849 and 1900 (2) Bills of Lading with impressed duty stamps; 1803 letter insert headed "His Majesty's Ship Amphion, Portsmouth Harbour, Feby. 23 1803" signed by Thomas Masterman Hardy (of Nelson fame) instructing his bank to credit the sum of £2000 to his brother (Joseph Hardy), accompanied by the signed receipt slip with impressed duty stamp; a mostly very fine and appealing group
