The "Lowe" Letters a collection of envelopes all with a "Lowe" (or "Low") connection, some of which were addressed to R.L. or members of his family, including 1857 from the Cape of Good Hope bearing triangular 4d., six envelopes or entires (1846-66) showing the Forwarding Agents cachet of John Thomas Lowe of Civita Vecchia, George Low (a tailor in Wimborne, Dorset) 1852-74 letters (15) including a illustrated design of Clevedon, 1868 and 1874 from the Cape of Good Hope and Odessa respectively to J.G. Lowe (R.L.'s great Uncle), 1923 addressed to R.L. from the International Stamp Exhibition in London (where R.L. worked in the Jury Room), 1948 hand painted comical envelope to R.L. from Frank Staff in Bridport.
