A Famille Rose Mug
Late Eighteenth Century
Of everted form and on rim foot, painted with a scene of a boy presenting a flower filled vase to a dignitary with his attendants in train, with panels to either side of flowerheads and foliage on a gilt scroll ground, (chips to rim, extensive chipping to handle, flaking and wear); and a Famille Rose candlestick of plain circular form on spreading base ( wear to gilding) (2)
