Lot Essay

Illustrated Officiel de la Couture, March 1962: "L'art du drape se renouvelle a l'infini entre les mains de Mme. Grès. Nous n'en voulons pour preuve que cette tres belle robe en jersey de Racine. Le drape du corsage pris en travers l'echancre en deux lozanges qui laissent apercevoir la peau, tandis que la jupe tombe en beaux plis souples". This dress was also illustrated in O'Cruzeiro, Brazil, on 25 August 1962.
